Ammentos is at the moment one of my biggest efforts to accomplish my “take it easy” mission

Looking at its Home page you could imagine you are just seeing another Persistence Framework. You must at least give a look at the Quick start guide to understand why Ammentos is different.

Okay, if you really are in a hurry, here’s a brief list of features so that you can decide if it needs some more attention from you.

• No configuration files at all
• No external dependencies, all you need is a single .jar file.
• Compliant with almost all databases
• Very very simple. You can start using it in a few minutes.
• Quick.
• Clean. Your model won’t become dirty and you won’t need to extend, implement, expose anything.
